second shooting with Steve Depino....

I got a chance to shoot a wedding this weekend with Steve Depino in Hartford...This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time as I'm a HUGE fan of Steve's work. The day went great and I had an awesome time.

We started out in East Hartford doing some prep shots before heading to the church for the ceremony. After that we went to City Hall in Hartford for some formals. City Hall was an awesome place to shoot with a ton of cool locations and architecture. 

On the way back to our cars we had a big scare as it looked liked cops had ticketed Steve's car and my SUV. As it happens, it was just pamphlets....'Jesus Loves You'.  Always nice to be reminded!!

The reception was at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam. A newer venue with an awesome staff and incredible views.

Well I guess I was a little off on that Super Bowl prediction...But I did warn you how bad I was at predictions.

Oh well....I'll get 'em next year!!!

Alright, here's my annual super bowl prediction...historically i'm usually wrong, so take this with a grain of salt.

I'm going to pick Arizona to win this one. Kick off is in a little less than 3 hours..
I'm off to finish up making all the food!!!

wedding: lauren and josh...

I shot Lauren and Josh's wedding this past saturday at the Lake of Isle and had an amazing time. They both have such awesome families and made me feel very comfortable which is always nice!!!

The day started at Foxwoods where we did some prep shots and attempted to take some shots on the gaming floor before we got promptly shut down and threatened to be escorted to see the 'powers that be' for attempting to take photos on the gaming floor. Such excitement so early in the day!!!

The ceremony was in Stonington, before returning for the reception at the Lake of Isle which was amazing!!!

engagement session: lauren & josh...

I met up with Lauren and Josh to do their engagement session a week or so ago for their wedding at the end of this month. I hadn't seen them since last year and it was great to catch up with them again. If there was ever a pair made for each other, they are definitely it!!

We started off with some killer coffee and tea, then headed off to shoot.

a little vacation...

Well, I'm off with my wife and baby to Florida for a week. My cousin who lives down there is getting married at the Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach and this is the first wedding I get to go to in about two years that I don't have to work at!!!

I'll be returning emails/calls when I get back on the 13th.
